How do i sand my head and block to get 50 RA for head gasket?

Hi, i just finished rebuilding the bottom end of my DE engine. The cometic head gasket says it need to have the surface be at 50 RA. What tools and materials do i need to do this? Thanks for any help.

This is a new one for me, but I had my block and head machined before installing my Cometic.
