how do i run the power to amp through firewall???

i need to know how do run the power cord from the outside of car to inside through the firewall?? i saw the one thread of how to do it but i believe that was for the 2008 ..i need to know for my 2006

if you're talking about the power cord from the battery trerminal to the amps

i ran it through a little hole on top of the hinges...ill get a pic later...it was on my old alti that my mom owns now...
