How do I roll up my window?

I have power windows and no longer have a harness in my car. I need to raise the windows up. Im thining that if I wrap a wire around the positive terminal on the battery and stick it in the correct pin hole in the female end on the window switch clip it might go up. My second thought tells me that this wont work because this isnt grounded now. What do you think? How car I roll my window up?

there are two prongs on the plug for the motor. take a wire, attach one end to the positive terminal of the battery and attach the other end to one of the prongs. do the same with the other terminal and prong. the window will now go up, if nothing happens, reverse the wires on either the plug or the battery.
