how do i retreive code on my car?

How do I retreive codes on my 1995 240sx ?

the check engine light came on today

but it doesnt run any different..

the car always shook a lil bit though at idle.... idles normally at 800 rpm with no ac on.

your ecm is in the passenger side panel in the corner. there is a screw to adjust. turn it clockwise until it stops wait a couple of secondsthen turn it back counterclockwise make sure the key is inthe on position your engine light will flash depending what code it is and pause it will doit again then stop it will tell you what code.

EX:flash 5x first then 5x again = code 55
