How do I reset the Tire Pressure Sensor on a EX35

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Hi, Can somebody please tell me how to reset a tire pressure sensor on a EX 35. I really don't want to take the car to a dealer for this issue. I am pretty sure that there is a some kind of a command or a code that could be entered in to computer to reset this.

If you know this please let me know.

I really appreciate all help.

Thanks

Alx

You mean the TPMS light? First, make sure all of your tires are filled properly. If that is the case and the light still persists, there is not much you can do with just the car to reset the TPMS light. Unless you have the Infiniti TPMS tool, you cannot reset this light. It is also possible that there is a malfunction with the system, which is something the dealer would have to look at as well.

I know it's not the answer you want, but it is unfortunatly what you have to do.

Welcome to our EX forum, mirik!

Make sure all four tires are filled to the proper pressure (e.g. 33 psi), neither under- nor over-filled. Drive for a few minutes at a speed of at least 16 mph (25 km/h), and the light should reset. (see Owner's Manual, p.2-14)

Coincidentally, my TPMS light went on yesterday, whereupon I discovered a nail in my tire, so I've lived this whole experience quite recently!

After inflating all my tires to 33psi I had to drive several miles or about 10 minutes above 16mph before the warning light finally went out.

For the record, you're talking about the TPMS's that came with the Car, right ?
