How do I reset the Supplemental Airbag warning

I had the bottom seat cover off for some upholstery work on my '02 Q45. Had to drive the car with the seat mounted airbag disconnected. Of course the electronics noted the malfunction.

I disconnected the battery when I put things back together, but the airbag fault light still flashes. Do anyone have a quick way to reset the system?

the SRS reset procedure for a 99 i30 is to start with key turned off.. I did this after I had the front seats out..

1) Turn ignition key to on - SRS lights up.
2) Tap the door light switch 6 times in 10 seconds.. usually the SRS light will go off after the 6th tap. Some models require 10 taps in 10 seconds.

3) turn the key off
4) wait 10 seconds
5) start car and the light will go off normally..

It took a couple of tries to get the rhythm of it before it worked for me..

Look in the SES section of your FSM. Very explicit if it is like the earlier ones.
