How do I RESET Anti Theft System in a 2001 Pathfinder

Fellow Forum Members,
What is the correct way to reset the Anti Theft System in a 2001 Pathfinder LE?

I ask because currently my keyless remote does not seem to be communicating with the Anti Theft System. When I press on the UNLCOCK or UNLOCK button nothing happens. No sound of locks tripping and no lights with horn chirp happening.

For a 98 Pathfinder I read that inserting the key five times into the outside keyhole on the Driver Door resets the Anti Theft System. Does anyone out there know the trick to resetting the Ant Theft system on a 2001 Pathfinder. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
