You have to take off the splash shields underneath the car and you'll be able to see it. They're a bit of a pain to get off but once you get them off the third bolt with be visible and shouldn't be too hard to access.osu9400 wrote:I have new lamp assemblies for my 2002 i35. Just curious. Why do you have new lamp assys? They're real expensive.osu9400 wrote:I have new lamp assemblies for my 2002 i35. There are two screws on top which are visible. There is one more underneath which I cannot access. How do I get to this last screw???
Use a flat head screwdriver and there should be a slot in the clips that you can fit it in from the side. Basically it's a 2 part clip, you separate it(gently) with a screwdriver and then it will pull right out.osu9400 wrote:Thanks for the replies. I looked underneath and there are some clips which I cannot remove without breaking. Is there a tool or some technique to remove these clips?
