I have new lamp assemblies for my 2002 i35. There are two screws on top which are visible. There is one more underneath which I cannot access. How do I get to this last screw???

You have to take off the splash shields underneath the car and you'll be able to see it. They're a bit of a pain to get off but once you get them off the third bolt with be visible and shouldn't be too hard to access.

Just curious. Why do you have new lamp assys? They're real expensive.

Thanks for the replies. I looked underneath and there are some clips which I cannot remove without breaking. Is there a tool or some technique to remove these clips?

My original covers are completely fogged over and quite ugly. I bought some new after markets for $85 each. Very nice looking!

Use a flat head screwdriver and there should be a slot in the clips that you can fit it in from the side. Basically it's a 2 part clip, you separate it(gently) with a screwdriver and then it will pull right out.
