Since the old ones are junk, I just take a socket that fits over the pintle cap and the injector "holder" and just tap them out. Most of the time this breaks the cap but since they're the old ones it doesn't matter.

To put the new ones in you really need to lubricate the o-rings so that they will slide in properly and not bend/break/etc. I've had that happen before, just one injector o-ring screwed up and it filled at least one cylinder with gas and filled every intake port up to the injectors... talk about hydrolock.

When I put my injectors in I just used a very small amount of oil on the o-rings so that they would slide in... they do still take some force to get it. Just spin them a little and push hard and they'll slide right in.

I believe some say oil will eat the o-rings so you could use some water based lubricant or something along those lines but being in fuel all of the time, I wouldn't think oil would cause many issues. I haven't had any issues yet with mine so I'm happy.

Good luck and let us know if you need any more assistance.
