How do i replace dash lights in 99 qx4?

my service engine light is out, I have a 168 LED to replace it, how do i go about getting behind the display to change the bulbs?

There's 6 screws. Two holding the trim piece and four holding the actual gauge cluster. After you take those out just remove the cluster, change the bulbs, and you're set.

Are you sure its burned out? Our reliable cars show CEL so rarely, that it's easy to mistake it for being burned out...

but really, i tried removing gauge cluster once... i removed the two screws from the bezel but the bezel was practically impossible to get out... any tricks to this?

Lower your steering wheel all the way and then you kinda have to finese it out of there. You can force it and it wont break but it's also alot easier without the steering wheel cover on.
