Loosen the bolt that holds the pully to the bracket, it locks the tensioner, send me money.

EDIT FOR Perfessional Courtsey

I will pay you NO money

I need better advised, the bolt was removed all the way and the nut holding the pulley onto the tensior was removed as well.

and besides the 3 bolts is all that pull does

loosen the bolt that hold on the pull than there is a bolt that will loosen the belt i know i have just got done doing timing chain on my 89 240 also if you are having problems with getting belts off you might want to rethink about doing your timing chain yourself and get someone that know little bit more than you

Thanks for the advise lol all that stuff has been done and more, I have done most of the work on the car myself.

Im thinking that my tensioner is broke though cause now the bolt just threads down by itself, so Im looking at alternatives.

Sorry to anyone who reads the harsh post earlier, having a ****ty day and I drive my car over 50 miles aday and is kinda in a hurry to fix it but meh o well ill figure it out.O and the bolt that holds the pully to the tensioner part just loosens a nut and that was taken off as well and besides the 3 bolts that hold the braket to the engine block thats it.

Thanks though, just a little preventive maintence

1)Loosen bolt that holds the pulley itself, it locks the tensioner in place.

2)Loosen the tensoiner bolt as much as desired.

3)Pull on the belt or tap(might take a good amount of force) on the tensioner bolt or the pulley. Pulley should budge and be able to move.

There is nothing that could hold if you are doing this correctly, and on the same tensioner
