I want to remove the factory spoiler from my I30t. I've never been a big fan of spoilers, factory or not. I am curious not only how to get the spoiler off, but also how to remedy the "hole" situation that will no doubt be left in my trunk lid after removal. If anyone has photos of this process that would be uber sweet as I am very visual:)

I am also curious if anyone would want to buy this spoiler after I remove it?

Thanks in advance!

My recommendation would be to buy a trunk from a car that never had a spoiler. You may be able to find someone without a spoiler who wants one who'll be willing to trade outright or even pay you for your spoiler.

If I were removing the spoiler and keeping the same trunk, though, I'd be EXTREMELY careful about sealing the holes perfectly against water. Caulk them or something like that. You can bondo on top of it if needed, but if you don't seal them you'll likely end up with your trunk rusting from the inside out.
