how do i remove the antenna on the S13?

i have a 1992 rms13, and its a clean car but the only problem is that the antenna is broken and it will not come out! really cheezin me off! please help

there is a nut at the base of the antenna that you turn. i think it has two holes that you stick some kind of tool in to help twist it off. i used a cloth and wrench.
