There's something that's loose, and I want to take off the rear deck and secure it down.

Also, how do I get the rear 3rd brake light out of the spoiler?

Thanks!

Kevin,

If it is like the G50 (have a FY33 FSM?), take both your thumbs while your fingers rest on the spoiler and push with your thumbs. CHMBL should pop out as an assembly.

To get to the rear parcel shelf, using the G50 as an analogy, you will have to remove the rear cushion, then the rear seatback, then the trunk panel, then the clips holding the shelf down. If you have the rear shade, it may complicate things.

Brian, I'm looking at my FSM, and I can't for the life of me find the CHMBL removal instructions. So if I push it in, then it comes out, how the heck do I get it back in? In the EL section the only thing it shows for Stop lamps is a wiring diagram.

I don't have the rear shade since it's a 98. Well, I'm going in the shop tomorrow morning to do my front anti-roll bar endlinks and D bushings so I'll pull it up on the Mitchell software and see if it gives a better description that the FSM.

Kevin, just pop it back, kinda of like a cabinet door. Push once to release, push again to lock.

Look under BT Seat and Side and Floor trim for the rear parcel shelf.
