Can someone help me with a issue I ran into? I have to replace the Front Wheel Bearing Assembly on both the Driver and passenger side of my 1995 Nissan Altima. The problem I have is the driver side lock nut won't break loose. I sprayed it with WD40 and then tried to break it loose and still nothing. This is all with the car on the ground and me jumping up and down on the breaker bar. I have a better chance of Breaking the Breaker bar, then break the lock nut loose. Does anyone have any tips, or tricks on how to break this thing loose, or if there is any sort of special tool to use? The last resort is to go to a gargae and see what they would charge to break it loose for. Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks

I've faced this many times. The sure-fire way to do it is to use an impact wrench. I know that access to an air compressor is a hard thing to come by if you don't have one, but it is SO good to have. It is really the only way to get the job done quickly and correctly.
