how do I raise the boost level?

s14 t28 turbo, blitz sbc id, the usual stuff

when I set it to 15 psi, seems like it never want to go pass 10, I checked all the setting on the boost controler and I can't quite figure it out what else I'm missing

is it just slow spool for a stock turbo? or am I missing something?

sounds like your sbc isnt hooked up right, or your turbo wont make more than 10 - is it old?

i mean my t25 makes a stable 11-12 no movin around, but it'll make 18 spiking if i try... is it a s14 motor?

s13 motor with s14 turbo

it should* be right, if I set it to 8 or 9psi it'll be capped at the level

would lack of tuning have anything to do with it? untuned power fc w/ bigger injectors, z32 maf

what BOV u got? many leak the wa they come from factory

you prolly wanna tighten it up... also u running blowthrough or not?

im pretty sure its adjustable... ill look at the ole sucker when i get home tho- its got a bolt on the back...

i had one on my old car... now i use a type-s because my hotpipe for the hks got bent.

the wastegate opens when the boost goes up--if the boost is being regulated by the sbc, either the sbc aint workin or the actuator is fux'd

you dont run blowthrough i take it? If not do you recirc withthe HKS?

I USED to recirculate it but I don't really like it. No gas milage increment like some claimes so I took it off. That didn't allow me to run higher boost either way.

right-- i think its one of 3 things..1.bov leaks2.boost leak3. somethings wrong in boost controller...

it still makes boost hard to 10 psi right?and u can hear it grumble when wastegate opens?

Have you checked your IC piping/BOV for leaks under boost? Also, try checking the wastegate actuator hose for a vacuum leak. Had that prob with a friends Z31 Turbo. Unless your SBC also monitors your AFRs i dont see how it could refuse to increase boost unless its broke.

I've NEVER seen my car go past 10psi of boost on the said turbo

I looked through the settings.... auto peak is on, scramble boost is off, warning/limit/set is at 15psi, gain is at 40

allthe hoses looks fine, zip tied or clamped at each end

something leaks dude... or your turbo is beat. how old it the snail?

it was from someone elses's from clip from phase 2, I think it was about 50km

I'll check all the hoses again.

By the way, you know how there are 2 inlet for the intake manifold pressure? Well I kind of put everything into one inlet, could that have anything to do with it?

oh yeah, I have a setting between acuator and wastegate, I have it on acuator atm, is that correct?
