I'm having a issue with oil pressure and my oil pump not pumping. Heavy throttle mentions priming the pump through the turbo oil return line?

http://srownersclub.com/faq/index.asp

Has anyone done this? I have searched for this but this has never really been answered.

My engine has sat for about 15 months, now that its installed, no oil is being pumped.

Its not a dented pan or a clogged return as that is the first thing I checked.

Let me know what you all think!

Thanks in advance.

have you tried doing a dry crank. disconnect the fuel pump fuse and ignition coil wire. and just crank it to prime the the oil in the engine

yes I should of added that, I did try a dry crank about 10 minutes worth total so far.

This is driving me nuts, it blows my mine how a oil pump could just fail from sitting in my garage?

I have powered about 15 quarts of oil through it and seems to flow through just fine with no blockage.

I also replaced the sump/filther today with a new one and still nothing.

Anything special anyone can think of that I should be looking for?
