i've gone to the dealer and everywhere else and i cant get the metal line that goes from the master cylinder to the hose that connects with the slave cylinder...everyone says i'll have to make my own by getting the right size tubing, bending it with a pipe bender, then using a flare tool at the ends to hold the fittings on the line

my questions are...

What size/type fittings do i need at each end?

Do i need to put any type of sealer around the fittings at the end?

if you can think of anything else please let me know...thank you

no sealer will be needed with the correct flare. use the old hose to determine the diameter and the fittings. take it to match it up. why are you trying to replace the line anyhow?

they will be the same as the brake master fittings. It would be best to go to a junkyard and take a look at how the lines are set up on an existing one. If it were my car I would pass on the dampner and go straight to the slave from the master. This will give you a bit more clutch feel when shifting.

oh you will need to run a rubber line from where it comes off the body and goes to the trans. this will keep you from breaking a hard line when the engine torqs
