How do i make an avatar?

ok ive been trying for 3 months to make one off and on everytime i leave the compter after hitting the keyboard a few times and go have a beer . at this rate it will take me 35 years to make one . i have a picture of my car that i want to use but it isnt 50x50 pixels and is a JPEG ,wtf do i do with it besides shove it up my hardrive?paint wont save it as a jpeg after im done with resizeing it to 50x50 so thats out and this imaging that this peice of crap came with is a hopless waste of space on a hardrive. on top of that the only computeri got right now is the government compter at work here in saudi so i cannot insatll anything either ....i was going to post the pic but its bigger than 400x400...i feel the anureizim coming on now

I'll resize it and email it back to you, but note that 50x50 is about the size of my buddy icon, so your car won't look especially impressive. : )

alright....i still don't get this picture thing...do i have to make my own? or are there ones people can pick from? come on someone smart that knows what they are doing help me out....thanks:help

you have to get to 20 post first. Then you have to have/find your own. http://www.aimphuck.com is a good site to get them from

i think i did it , had to ctl c or copy the original pic, went to paint then redid paints attirbutes to 50x50 pixels then hit ctl v to paste the pic to paint (it asks to resize bitmap, say no) then screw around with strrech skew and move the pic around in that little box and WHAM there you go . then copy that picture and paste it over to a new jpeg file in kodak imaging and save that thing .....then i guess import it here ...anyway thanks anyway guys dont worry about sending that stuff i sent ya dauntless just trash it ........

gotaa appologize , i must have known a female screen-named dauntless or something cuz up untill today i thought you were a female maybe it was something else i dunno , looks like a few others round here thought the same way ...

Can the avatar size be uped. It needs to be bigger for cars and such, 50x50 is way too small.

Eh, they try to make fun of me, but only because they know I'm better than them. : )

I don't really mind, because generally as ruthless a comment as they can make, I can make worse. And then lock their post. : )
