When I was car shopping, I came here to find out more about the Rogue and what owners thought about them. So I thought I'd start a thread to list the things that have delighted me since buying the car a few weeks ago. Add in your favorite things about your Rogue, or things you'd do differently (opt for a different package, accessory, colour, whatever).

I bought a glacier pearl (white) AWD SL, with the leather and tech package. Initially I wasn't sure about the leather, but I absolutely love it. I much prefer the subtle red stitching/punchout pattern to the (in my opinion) somewhat in-your-face red upholstery in some colours in the SL. Warning to those thinking of ordering sight-unseen: make sure you know what colour the interior is if it's cloth, and that you've seen it and like it. Also with that package in Canada, you get a trip computer -- I've got it set to show my average gas consumption, and it's fun to watch it go down! The deeply tinted windows look very cool too.

I also wasn't sure if the tech package would be worth it, but it absolutely is!! The intelligent key system is fantastic -- I have 2 small kids, and even with just an armload of groceries it's so great to not have to dig for keys. I use the Bluetooth phone feature every day, and I'm happy I went with the factory install with the steering wheel controls rather than adding something on after the fact. The XM radio I'm still not totally sold on, but even if I never use it the other two features are more than worth the extra $700.

The interior details are wonderful. Heated seats, dashboard elements that are solid-feeling and not cheap looking (unlike so many cars I see these days), great storage, comfortable seats. I had an autodimming compass mirror on my last car, so that was a must for me.

One thing I didn't even notice until the first few days of owning the car, was that when the trunk opens up the cargo floor is flush with the back of the car. There's no lip dropping down into the trunk area, as there was on my last car. This has been fantastic for getting things in and out, as well as providing a great "tailgate" picnicking surface when we're out.

I absolutely love driving this car. It's smooth, quiet, absorbs the lumps in the road, just feels very luxurious. All in all, I feel the Rogue is an outstanding value. In any case, that's about it off the top of my head. Hope this helps someone!

I love how roomy it is in the back seat. There is plenty of space for my legs, shoulders and head

I went cheap and got an S when I got mine two years ago (still better than the Corolla I was driving) but I do wish I would have got a few extra options:

Xenon HeadlightsFog LightsSteering Wheel Radio ControlsPaddle Shifters (just for fun)

I still enjoy my Rogue and with the new transmission update it is like driving a new car.
