I think I got screwed. I recently purchased a 06 m35. I drove my m35 for the 1st time at night a couple days ago. When I turned on my headlights I noticed my low beam headlights are completely different colors! The drivers side is a yellowish color while the passenger side is light blue. The used car salesman did inform me the drivers side was involved in minor accident. I know the drivers headlight assembly was replaced because it looks brand new. Now I'm wondering if the bodyshop replaced the driver's headlamp assembly with a non HID model?

looks like your diagnosis is correct. you might have to do some detective work and find out if both bulbs are the same on the inside.

there is an easy way to find out. If you have stock HIDs, the writing on the headlamp lens would read D2R/D2S. If its not, it would read H1/H11 I believe. the writing is on the bottom of the lens.

What probably happened is the body shop replaced the driver's side low beam light with the stock HID light (4300k) without looking at the what the passenger's low beam light (which is probably 6000k+). Best way to fix this is to order a new set of HID lights and either replace them yourself or have your local Infiniti dealership replace them.
Well that's great news. How can you tell the difference from a halogen model vs. a HID model?

If you have AFS button on the dash you have HID.
