how do i know if i need new springs too

i know that i need new struts but how do i know if i need new springs also. ps how good are KYB struts.

KYB makes good, high quality stuff

springs, well they dont often go bad, no moving parts or anything, the only way they ever do go bad is if they get broken or bent out of shape , stuff like that
