How do I know if a RB26 is 32 or 33?
How do I know if a RB26 is 32 or 33?
Guys I am switching to an RB26 and need to know if there is anyway I can know if it's R33 or R32 engine. Thanks

see the grey conector toward front top of fuel rail, that is not on R32. Also, the oil cap is different on 32....

Don't forget the power Steering pump. R32s were Hicas R33 werent.

all Rs are Hicas, Nissan loves that junk. Get the 33 for the better crankshaft drive eccentric for the oil pump.
what is that plug specific to the 33 for? the injectors?
i have a 26 and i still haven't figured out which one I have :T It doesn't seem like I have that plug, but I do have the good oil pump collar. Also have the 32 oil cap. Probably have a late 32.
