I ordered an H4 headlight conversion for my pop-up lights. Well, I got the headlights today, thinking it would take a few minutes to install them. I took them out of the box, and it turns out that they have some kind of a bulb on the bottom, with a white and a black wire coming out. Also, there are two wires, red and white, going around the front of the glass, and coming out the bottom. I'm posting a picture, maybe someone will be able to tell me what to do. Thanks for any advice.

The bulb at the bottom is for city driving lights - you can completely ignore it (just tape it up) and your headlamp will work fine.

If you don't want to ignore it, you can wire it up to either the low beam or parking light signal. You "should" use a relay to power this just in case, but since it's such a tiny bulb, probably won't be much of a problem. Anyway, if you don't know what I'm talking about, either search on how to run relays (i.e. here & the12volt.com & google), or tape it up - your headlights are gonna be in the down position anyway.

Right, the H4 hooks directly to the hookup for H6054. But I guess I just want to up my posts. So, your welcome for the worthless post.

The white/black wires are for city lights, which are typically blue and just for show. You will almost always get pulled over if you have them on.

WIthout seeing the front of the light to be sure, I'm guessing that these lights are "angel eyes" and there is a lighting ring around the outside edge of the lens in another ricer attempt to be a BMW.

I would suggest getting rid of these lights completely as I had a set without the angel eyes and they had a HORRIBLE light pattern, they were almost useless at night. Forget the H4 conversion, its pointless, and get some Sylvania Silverstars. Silverstars are in my opinion, the best lighting option for the 240 pop-ups. They're really bright, have a defined cut off line, and are pretty much pure white. Very close to driving during the day.
