I installed the other front one to see if that would help at all. Nope, it's lower by maybe 1-2 fingers, but there's still a gap of 3-4 fingers from the tire to the fender!LayNLow240 wrote:did you finish installing all 4 of them? because in your other thread you said you only installed one. install all 4 and go take it for a ride and let it settle down to the lower height. go install the others then come back.and later on, dont get those fake coilover sleeves. get real coilovers instead.
How could I possibly have messed up anything? The only thing I can think of is that stock shocks don't have a higher or lower perch setting like some aftermarket ones do... perhaps that's why some people have better results with lowering using these springs.adrians_s13 wrote:sportlines are a pretty low drop, iirc, its like the lowest of many other lowering springs...
dude, I think u did something wrong...
have you driven the damn thing yet?but anyway maybe this will refresh your memory...Black R wrote:

And wtf are you talking about fake coilover sleeves? These are direct replacement bolt-on lowering springs!
coilover sleeves are bad mkay.Black R from the other thread wrote:This way I can have a low suspension now, and upgrade to ground control coilover sleeves in the future as I slowly build up the car.
