I was just wondering how would I go about installing speakers to my 1990 Infiniti Q45. I've been looking at different sets of speakers that show promise, but I dont know the size I should get for the front or how would I go with uninstalling the stock speakers and putting in the new ones. The speakers I'm looking at are 6.5 inches for the front and the rear are obviously going to be 6 x 9's I also wanted to know is will any brand of speakers work for the Q45? Can anyone of you guys help me out?

Thanks,q45sound

OK, scratch the whole size issue cause I got that from one of your forums(which was very helpful by the way) now all I need to know is how do I go about installing the speakers to my car. I don't want to mess anything up you know. So, if someone could tell me how with detail I would appreciate it a lot. Thanks

For the front speakers: You have to take the door panel off.

Remove the Black "box" that they are in. Remove the speaker and amp.

I would recommend a ~5~6in speaker in the front.

You are going to have to enlarge the cutout. I would suggest using a Rotary tool to do this.

After that, drill the holes to mount the speaker.

Make sure that the Speaker/Magnet clears the Window.

Then put it back together
