its easy as hell, i just removed mine.. super simple..
take off valve cover --- take off front crecent head plug, for access to the cam bolt, holding on the timing gear----unbolt timing gear ----on top there is 2 rocker arms.. (the arms that hold the rockers down..) they are held in by 5 bolts on each arm, remove the outer most bolts first, then work your way in..
1 - 5 -- 9 -- 7 -- 3O--O---O---O---O|| || || || ||O--O---O---O---O2 - 6 -- 10 -8 -- 4------
now the rocker arms should lift up, as well as the cam journal caps, there are 5, keep track of your guides, (the oil gallerie guides), and which cap came from where, and how it came out.--
pull out camshaft --
insert new camshaft --
reattach the camshaft journal caps (and use assly lube)---
now bolt back in the caps, and rocker arm assembly as a single unit, and bolt them in the same way you unbolted them.==
attatch the cam gear back onto the camshaft--
insert the crecent head seal to block the bolt---
install valve cover---
start motor up, and rev up to 2000 rpms for 20 minutes.. let go, after revving, listen for any odd rocker noise.. if noise occours, replace rocker's.---
give it a good 500 mile break in period, not to exceed 3200rpms..
after that.. enjoy
hope this helps a little
