well the reason im asking this is because my friends that know how to do this are too busy working on their own cars to show me how to do it. so i am in dire need because the clutch needs put in, then the transmission and engine needs put in, and im tired of waiting. i have no idea how to do but im willing to work hard. so if you can help me, that would be great. if you need to know anything just reply.

it is an 89 240sx with a KA24DE engine.

remove the transmission from the engine, zap the old stuff off, and put the new stuff on. its pretty simple.

a few tips : when you are bolting up the clutch assembly, tighten the bolts evenly around (like a star pattern). tighten it from light to heavy (first round = 1/3 of spec, etc.)

and since you are by yourself, you might as well take the engine out. i found that removing the engine by yourself is so much better than doing it with the engine still in.

if you don't have an air impact, then i suggest for you to get one if you plan to have the flywheel resurfaced, which is recommended for every clutch job.just grab the FSM for your car and have at it. and make sure everything the flywheel bolts are all tight.

or have a buddy hold a breaker bar to the crank bolt while you loosen the flywheel bolts.

Make sure to resurface the flywheel, get help if needed while taking the transmission down and also use thead locker on the flywheel bolts .
