I just purchased a Blitz BOV and i was thinking of installing it myself. I dont know how to instal it...where do i get the vacum from if i have a GReddy boost controller on it? its a S13 SR20DET all stock with the exception of the Boost Controller. Anyone how a BOV and a Boost Controller hooked up? what do I do?

ok, for the bov, take your vacuum source after the TB anywhere on the mani. and for the boost controller, it has nothing to do with the bov. go to greddys site and DL the instruction manual for whatever boost controller you have.

Don't the sr20's come stock w/ a BOV of some sort? If so, I'd remove the stock one and use the vac line going to it. And the boost contoller should go in line with the hose for your wastgate.

you cant have both, the engine doesnt produce enough boost for both to read at once...

You basically hook up the BOV the same way you would without a boost controller. They are independent systems and the addition of a boost controller should not affect the BOV operation.

ok...I went ahead and did it. I installed the Blitz BOV to my SR20DET... basically the boost controller module is connected to the wastegate of the turbo and one vacum post on the manifold. The intake manifold has three (3) vacum post that are readily avialable to use, one is being used by the fuel pressure regulator and then you can also split it, insert a ( T ) and also connect the boos controller display from there too. That leaves me with 2 vacum post that I can use, so I ran a vacum hose from the intake manifold to the BOV. It works really great, and sounds really cool. If anyone needs pics let me know.

no, that's just for the boost controller. i ran the vacuum line from the BOV to the nipple off the intake manifold by the throttle body like they said above...
