how do i hook up my sr20det powersteering

im having trouble with installing the power steering on my sr20det. the pump that came with the motor has two fluid lines coming off the top but my friends sr20det only has one and i cant figure out how to get it all hooked up. im a little confused on what to do to get everything working and what i need. If anyone has any imformation on this i would greatly appreciate it.

You've got a HICAS P/S pump. You have two options. You can convert the HICAS to a non-HICAS by opening the back and removing two plates or you can get a non-HICAS SR pump. There is a third option, you can use a KA pump but you need one of the SR brackets which bolts to the front side of the pump and those are hard to come by trust me I tried.

KA P/S pumps are the same as Non Hicas S/R Pumps minus being a 3 ribbed belt.

You can use a Non Hicas Pump with the Hicas Pump bracket you just need to shave the back of the housing to make it fit in the bracket

I cant remember but i think i used a SR pump I had laying around.
