I have a stock redtop and there are four bolts that hold it to the manifold on the underside and they are loose. I tried open end wrench, mini opened end wrench, swivel joint and nothing will get on those two rear bolts because the turbine housing is in the way. Do I really have to pull off my manifold to get to them? That just sounds like a pain.

yes you do. there is no way around it. and even if you could get them off, you would not be able to get them tight enough when you put them back.

its not that much of a pain. you get used to it. i can have mine out in an hour. takes a little more than an hour to put it back. (i have lost count how many times i have pulled my turbo off my car)

I've heard this is a pretty common thing with SR20s. I've talked to a few people who've had to replace their bolts cause of them getting stretched or just because all the pressure or something wears them out

it's not a HUGE pain. it's just a pain when you have to do it twice in a month -_-
