How do I get NICO to stop e-mailing me?

Everytime someone replys to a subscribed thread of mine, I get an e-mail and they stack up really fast and I'd rather not recieve them. I went into my profile and checked NO for this option-

Use 'Email Notification' by default?Using this option emails you whenever someone replies to a thread that you have participated in.

-and clicked update. The NO circle is filled, yet I still get the e-mails. Am I missing something?

Also, why is private messaging disabled?

when you go to your user profile you need to scroll down to where it says View All Subscribed Threads, click that and then when it loads the list of subscribed threads you need to go through and unsubscribe from each one. What you did only prevents you from recieving e-mail notification when you post in a new thread. Or atleast thats how I understand it.

That should have worked, and yes you need to unsubscribe from the threads, because it will send out emails regardless.

PM's are disabled because of bandwidth issues.
