how do i fix this thing before it gets worse

now i have had 2 240sx. first one was a 93 hatch. now my new one is a 89 coupe the the hatch did it and now now the coupe wants to do it too ok the problem is the bracket that holds the sway bar in the front of car it has a nut and a bolt. the hole were the bolt goes striped out on the hatchy and now it wants to strip on the coupe how do keep this from happening. and if it does happen what do u guys recommend i do. for the fast back i made a whole on the wall beside the hole and simply put a nut and tightened but after that everytime i turned it woould make a nasty pop sound so dont want to go that rout if i dont have to.
