How do I find out what this motor is out of? Help ASAP!

Hey guys, picking up a spare motor in half hour! Is there anyways to tell what the motor is specifically out of? Like serial numbers and some where I can search them? Want to confirm its of use to me before I take it! Any help is appreciated!!

What exactly are you trying to figure out?

How complete is it? Fully assembled long block with injectors?

The casting on the head can tell you if it is a TT block and a approximate year range depending on if the heads are original to the block.

We got her all figured out there buddy, got myself a 91-92 TT motor with everything on it, all sensors, alternator, ps pump, clutch fan, clutch assembly. Got a killer deal on it too!

the block should have the car vin on it, not sure where..since I never seen mine
