How do I clear codes?

I do have the FSM. I just can figure it out. 94 Q45a. I pulled the plug on the MAF sensor while the car was running. Now I'm getting a code 12, and I know the MAF sensor is fine.

Connect the ECU to it's harness, turn the ignition to ON but leave the engine off. Turn the screw on the ECU fully clockwise (CW), count to 3, turn screw fully counterclockwise (CCW). You should get a solid red light. If it is flashing code 55 repeat the cycle (CW/CCW). When you are done the screw needs to be in the fully CCW position. Good luck.
