Hey guys...

so here comes a question that I have been meaning to ask for a long time......

As my 04 G35couple is reaching 6000miles soon.. i'd assume that there will be lotta carbon buildup in the engine....

does anybody know how do i clean it?? Do I need to bring it to a mechanic or all I need to do is to buy some additives from CanadianTire??

if buying additives is the option.. then is there a favorite brand for Infiniti ?!?!

any suggestion is much appreciated....

The general additive of car users is seafoam. I've never used it on a G so I can't say anything about that car in particular but I've used it on everything from my 240sx to my dad's CTS-V...

I assume you are worried about combustion deposits inside the engine. 6k miles is too soon for this to become a problem. To avoid it indefinitely, just drive the car fairly hard now and then. No burn outs or power shifts; just accelerate to red line at full throttle in a lower gear. Forget about snake oil additives.

Never attempt to fix anything that isn't broke! How do you know you have carbon buildup with only 6k miles. Check your spark plugs when you get to 100k miles
