How do I check for blown shocks?

I have rear AGX adjustables with Ground Control coilovers... I don't know if they are blown or not. They do make squeeking sounds when I go over bumps and such. Could this be it? These are on the back of my car.

How do the ground control coilover's work for you? Have pic's?

take the strut off and hold it so the piston is pointing up... if it falls due to gravity it is bad

Oh ok thnaks. And to the guy asking about the Ground Control coilovers, they are decent. They're not Megans, but they work and is a little on the cheaper side. lol. Sorry I will try to get oics up.

i hade them i didn't like them for the fact you had to grind the hell out of the shock to get them to fit.... but they are on the cheap side and you get what you pay for.. but they do work ...
