pop up the shifter trim with a screw driver or anything else that's flat and under the gear indicator you'll see a small 194 bulb - hard to get but doable - change that and you're good.btw you're a copy cat

crappy camera but there's no illuminated part in my car that's not red - inluding the clock and auto ac controls.

i sprayed the bulbs with transparent candy apple red paint from a arts/crafts store. idk if you can find the bulbs in red but it would probably cost more than paint too.

WOW i'm doing blue in mine. with hyper white bulbs in the gauges with blue needles.the other lights are gonna be metallic blue from advance auto parts and or xenon "white" which is actually a purple blue

i also have a set of light cover lenses that i metallic blued that look sweet except for a tan interior. white lights with those produce an awesome blue

i doubt that you'll notice any loss in speed - what you have for audio isn't that heavy.

it depends on how attuned you are to your car. i've always noticed a slight drop in performance when i do it. i have one sub with amp box and cap attached to it.. it weighs 80 pounds.. 100 pounds is a tenth of a second on the 1/4 mile track. if u really know ur car. u can feel it. its like filling up ur gas tank with gas vs. it being empty. SECURE IT.. if it slides around. ur cornering will be decreased because it produce more roll and rear end slide when it bounces around
