Well I know I'm gonna get "bullied" for this but I can't figure out how to burnout in my Auto NA Z32 when I want to. Sometimes it does it sometimes it won't. I do not and will not neutral drop it. I power brake, torque brake, etc. When power braking, the tires break loose as it gets past 1.5K rpms and I can get it up to 2K rpms but sometimes it sits there at the 2K rpm stall speed all day (not literally) spinning but no smoke or very little smoke and i mean very little, and then on some days when it wants to it hits that stall speed for a bit then goes past it until it hits redline making the car disappear in smoke. What I need help figuring out is how the hell do I make it go to redline every single time when power braking. I will appreciate any help provided in "destroying" my car by doing this. Thanks in advance.

Only thing I can think of instead of neutral dropping it is, put it in drive, press the brake pedal and then give her some gas. Your car might try to roll forward but that's really the only way I can think of.

Thanks for the quick reply but I already do that and like I said above, sometimes it'll go past the stall speed and reach redline and sometimes it will just stay at the stall speed. Anybody got any other ideas?

Z32s aren't made to do that, the brakes on the rear are 2pots and are way to good to power-brake. If you do get it to spin the rears while power-braking you WILL tear some s*** up. I'm not against burnouts, I am however against abusing Z32s

Agreed. I am against doing burnouts on a stock auto Z that just seems horrible to me.
Its kind of like the driver is just wanting to break something.

Let me guess. someone bet you couldn't in a 2+2 N/A. and you agreed.

Stupid Idea OP. walk away from the z32 for a day. You need to reevaluate your thought process here, bro. You know one of those bad ideas that particularly didn't end in a bad result, until after it clouded your judgement and led to a hundred other bad things? Yeah, this is one of them. One day, you will blow by, and I'm not talking just about a ricer blow by. Blow by in your cylinders, son. Followed by a completely blown engine, and I'm not talking supercharged. Lol. Just don't molest the z32. N/A or not.

Its nothing like that, I know it's abusive and it's not good for the car. I don't do it everyday or every other day. Last time I can remember was a little over 8 months ago. It's just that this is my first automatic car and the stall speed kicking in was kinda puzzling me. It was just a question I've had on my mind for quite some time but somehow never had it when I was on the forums. I knew to expect these types of responses thanks anyways. Oh and about walking away from the z32 for even a day is impossible these cars are addicting.

I hear you, just dont develop the habit of trying to f*** with it too much, it's not abuse friendly. Also an interference engine, so keep up wiht timing belt maintenance too. :dblthumb:

Yeah definitely not abuse friendly I've seen the aftermath on my friend's and a few of my co-workers Z's. It's a delicate car. Maintenance is done regularly and timing belt was done 2 months and a half ago.

Put some vise grips on the rear brake hoses, then you can power brake all day.

Dont really do this.

The Z32 can take a lot of abuse "IF" well maintained. A neglected Z32 is gonna fall to pieces if not maintained.
