How do I access the tail light bulbs on a 1997 I30 ?

I'm a newbie but try to do my own maintenance. I have a tail light bulb I need to replace but don't know how to get to it, can anyone tell me how to do it? volcano3131

if it's the outer tail remove a few retainer clips from the plastic strip on the "tail gate" that holds the carpet in place. move the carpet away and you'll see the back of your tails - pretty simple from there
