I have a 90 fastback, and SR is going in next week. I know that the 90 either needs a 91 ->up AC compressor, or a custom bracket made for the 90 compressor.

It looks like POSSIBLY I could bolt it all up with the motor in the car. Is it that easy? How would all the AC lines work without having to take the motor out again ?

I probably won't have to worry about AC until next June. Thankfully the cold season is coming up...

Easier and expensive route is to go with the 91+ compressor and other ac components.

Cheaper route would to make a custom bracket for your 90 compressor and use all your stock lines. Remember that if you're planning to keep your 90 ac system then don't release the freon when installing the sr.

The 91 ac system uses all different hose fittings and stuff so you will not be able to use your 90 ac lines with a 91+ ac compressor. Also you will need the 91+ ac plug that plugs up to the ac compressor as well. I'm still missing that plug...gonna head out to the local junk yard and snatch that plug up soon :ylsuper
