very easy - most people use a plenum spacer as its been found to be the best option so far.

It really depends on your abilities. Not a difficult job, but go slow to avoid any mistakes. If you have a 6MT, I'd also do the MREV2 mod. It really wakes up the car!

5/16. You will not be able to reinstall the engine cover (without modifying it) using the 1/2 spacer.

Make sure you have an inch pound torque wrench and do not over tighten the middle bolts.

inatall its self is not hard, there are alot of bolts like 18-20 that hold the plenum down, and there is a torquing pattern to follow. make sure you have time set aside to do it right. This not a job you want to rush, else you end up with a air leaks and Error codes.

The install will inprove mainly the Mid range power of the car 3500-5500 RPMS. right where its needed :) Also the engine sound will be louder and more throaty :)

Then you DO NOT need the MREV2 lower plenum mod...

The AUTOs already have that plenum design. The mod is for 6MTs.
