I have a 92 Q (recent purchase) I was looking for a service manual for it and I found one in the trunk but it is for a 94. Is it worth keeping for reference or is there too much difference in those years?

Its quite different, and so are the parts, even little things like belts and pulleys. Hold out for a 90-93 manual.

the FSM is close enough..... the belts and pullies are the same enough, since they dont have part numbers or anything.....

Youll be fine. the wiring for a lot of the 91-95 is VERY similar

x2

EDIT: TO clarify, we are talking about the differences in the FSM that would make it applicable to differences in that regard, not talking about differences in that.. This would require an intense study of both the 90-92 FSM and 94 FSM... I have owned and read COVER TO COVER a 1990 FSM and a 1994 FSM, has anyone else?

Sorry, just my '91 FSM so far, haven't gotten too far past the AT chapter in the '94 pdf version.

And nothing beyond detailed browsing in the '95 and up FSM's.

Obviously that wasnt directed toward you

AT section is like psalms in the bible.. not terribly eventful and just goes on FOREVER!!

the point im trying to make is that I personally dont see that many differences exist. In fact, in the 90 FSM i used to have, a few of the wiring diagrams for the engine that I looked at were IDENTICAL! Most of the body wiring was different since the 94 used a LAN system.
