How did you mount your harness?

so im in the market to buy a harness....

i have a roll cage already, and was thinkin of mounting it to a horizontal bar going from side to side of my cage.

im just curious to see what other people have done with their harnesses

dude i have been searchin too and cant find anything

i want a harness to run through my stock s13 seats but i cant find a single harness bar, i have the auto seat belt

I bought a harness bar that did not clear the rollcage, but I fabbed up some mounts and now it works.

I have mine bolted to where the rear seat belt would bolt into. AKA where the C-Pillar bar goes.

is mounting it at the c piller place legal in motorsports events?...is it even safe?...

i want the single bar bc i heard if u bolt the belts to ur seat or to the rear seat belts tht it can mess up ur spine if ur in a wreck

i dont see how though if ur wearing them tight and snug like ur supose to????

its geometry if the belt isnt at the right angle and it pulls on you during a crash at an unproper angle...whooopsies

does anyone know where to find a single bar? dont really want a whole cage bc its a DD and i dont wanna spend that much money bc i dont drift it or anything

whoa i just spent 4 hours researching this.so far the options are.mount to floor=break your backmount to c piller=break your neckbolt in cusco cage=break your lifeauto power bolt in cage=break some of your lifebolt in roll bar=break everything BUT your neckweld in cage=walk away laughing.ugh... its always the expensive one.

provide sources, if all three of these have a horizontal bar that is bolted in *correctly*, and the harness is on the *right* way how does it differ from a weld in cage that also has a horizontal bar

sparco has harness bars for 329.00... so does ebay for 129 and they come with two harnesses, and im sure other places do as well.
