How dark should I tint my tail lights on my coupe

Hey, I just bougt a 2008 altima coupe and im looking to get the tail lights tinted but Im not sure what is a good percent to get them done can any one pleas help me ? .. Thankss

Well you can always paint your taillights, i made a mix of about 75% clearcoat 25% black paint. If you have a paint gun, give them a quick once over, and if its not dark enough for you, give them another coat. Other then painting and overlays, dont think there's too much more you can do.

hear is a write up i did on how to paint your tail lights. If i was you, I would go to a tint shop to have them tinted. Window tinting is not made to be out side the car, so they wont last very long. Get some vinal overlays or do what I did and paint them. If you paint them, you can pick exactly how dark you want to go.

Too bad BAT doesnt have taillight overlays for the '02s i would of rather overlayed then painted. But yea i wouldn't tint your taillights, that probably wont last too long.

What color is your car? Most people get my 6/10 tint which equals 20%. I have a lighter 3/10 tint which is about 60%.

Paint Them!!!!!!! Thats what i'm doing. They will look so much cleaner and over time they won't peel like overlays do.
