How can you tell options from a vin number?

The dealer that sold me my car that ended up being bad is working with me. I am trying to see what factory options are on a few vehicles that I have VIN numbers for. Is there an easy way to find that out by searching VIN? Thanks.

I think you can, and it looks like there are some "car detective" sites that you can pay to do this. Hope this helps.
