I keep seeing a bunch of Z pics but almost non of them say 2seater or 2+2. Is there a way in the body to tell? I know in the z32 the gas cap is behind the wheel compared to the 2seater where its infront of the wheel. Am i missing a dead give away???

Just basic body lines. To a Z enthusiast, the 2+2 will look a little bit longer than the 2 seater variant.

well on the s30 the roof looks kinda flat and the "C" pillar is way bigger, on the S130 there is a large flat piece fo roof behind the T tops, also a slat spot on top fp the rear quarter indows, the 2 seater quarter glass is triangular, and well, the z31 has the same tells, if you look at them side by side it's pretty obvious

if you really can't tell either you need to get your eyes checked, or maybe observation just isn't your thing?

Look at my sig in the first response. How the quarter glass looks longer on the Z32, it's even more exaggerated between the 2 seater and 2+2 of the Z31/ S130.

In my sig, the one on the left is a 2+2, and the right is a 2 seater.

so im going to assume the top white one is the 2+2.... right? the z32 i have no problem identifying them its the z31 i have a problem with. I owned a z32 tt 2seater. My cousin owns 2 z32s and theres like 4 of them within a block radius of my house. Ive seen maybe 4 z31s in my time but i could never tell from a picture witch is witch. I was looking for something much more concrete like with the z32s. Something that even in the most trickiest picture you could still tell a 2+2 from a mile away...

most of us can tell them form a mile away the whole roofline is different, the quarter glass is the easy way, to spot the difference, all white people look alike

On most Z's, the rear window is a trapazoid vs a triangle

I have a much harder time telling a Z32 2 seater from a Z32 4 seater (unless I can see the fuel door) than from any other Z model.

3 hugely visible clues on the Z31:
4 sided rear quarter windows.
HUGE space between the t-tops and the rear hatch.
Space between the door and the rear wheel well.
