I am looking for a 10-20 hp gain. I am considering an ECU tuning and /or a CAI. I have done AEM intakes in the past but I am not sure this is the route i want to take. Can anyone tell me what kind of gains they have seen with these intakes and which one works best? OR IF THERE IS AN ecu TUNE UP FOR THE G35'S WHERE IS IT AND HOW RELIABLE? Thanks!!

Welcome to NICO!

Most people have the JWT popcharger combined with the Z-tube and plenium spacer. Best bang for the buck! ECU tuning is expensive, and will not give you much HP without a boost application.

Do a quick search for details.

Thanks!!!!!!! this is great! Glad to be with fellow enthusiasts. I found the info on the Plenum/spacer and the pop charger.

[Are there any risks or drawbacks? Together (and on paper) it would seem that I could stand to gain 16- 20, which is great for now. I do have an AT though. (that's because my 3.5 MANUAL transmission in my 02' altima went up 2wice and I had new ones installed at Nissan under warranty) From what I read the AT's have fewer issues.I am just hoping it wouldn't stress/break an stock parts?

If you do a few bolts on to include intake, plenum spacer and exhaust... then I would consider getting the ECU flashed by technosquare. You can go to there website and read more about exactly what it involves. After I get an exhaust, I will probably have my ECU flashed just to take full advantage of all the mods.
