how can i tell if if i have a s13 or s14 transmission

hey guys my question is how can i tell if i have a s13 or s14 transmission ive looked and cant find crap i know i have a s14 motor but not sure abou transmission so any info will be great

oh yah and a couple more questions if it is a s14 transmission what gear lube do i use gl-4 or gl-5 thanks

S14 transmissions have a crank angle sensor at the top of the bellhousing, S13s do not. Use GL-4 gear oil only, both gearsets are the same.

i thought only the obd2 s14 trannys had the crank angle sensor at the top

My '95 had a CAS and it was OBDI (manufactured 11/94).
