How can I set timing on a non running rb20?

So my car is still basically not running at all, gonna check timing, can someone tell me about how I would go about setting timing on a non running motor? Thanks

Would it not be the same for all motors? Cylinder 1 at TDC, cams in correct position (pointed out on KA engine) and distibuto rotor at spark position 1.
